K Balasubramanian, a Chartered Accountant since 1989, has extensive experience in audits, company law, and direct taxation, and later specialized in indirect taxation at BHEL’s Corporate Office from 2003 to 2017. Since the introduction of GST in 2017, he has focused exclusively on GST, contributing insightful articles to platforms like Taxmann and Tax Management India. A former special invitee to ICAI’s Indirect Taxation Committee, he has delivered numerous presentations on Service Tax and GST, including a notable session for SIRC of ICAI in December 2022.
